Should I Update My BIOS for RAM Compatibility?

Hey everyone, I recently bought some PC components including an ASUS B650E MAX GAMING WIFI W motherboard, Ryzen 7 9700x CPU, and a Kingston Fury 2x16gb DDR5 6400mhz CL32 RAM kit. I checked if my motherboard and CPU are compatible, and it looks like the current BIOS version should support my CPU out of the box. However, I'm a bit concerned about the RAM speed and latency. Initially, I wanted to get the 6000mhz CL30 RAM but couldn't. I'm wondering if I need to update the BIOS to avoid any stability issues with the RAM. Any advice would be appreciated!

You won't really know until you test it on your own setup. Just keep an eye on stability while you use it. If you run into problems like blue screens, that's when you should think about doing a BIOS update. Also, are you considering enabling EXPO settings for your RAM? That might help!

Yeah, I plan on testing stability first. I might enable EXPO if I decide to update the BIOS later!
