You don't need such a huge hard drive, especially for just booting and playing games. I'd suggest going for 1TB SSD, which is optimal for Fortnite. NVMe SSDs are faster, but if you're looking to save, a 2.5 SATA SSD will do just fine. You can always get a second SSD later if your son wants to explore bigger titles.
