I'm upgrading my PC for the first time and I'm a bit nervous about removing the GPU to install an NVMe SSD. The M.2 slot is located very close to the graphics card, and I'm unsure if there's enough space to install the NVMe at an angle without removing the GPU. Is it safe to attempt this without taking out the GPU, or should I learn how to remove it first? If removing the GPU is the better option, can someone guide me through the safe process? Is it easy enough for a complete beginner?

Honestly, removing the GPU is pretty straightforward. Just make sure the PC is off, pull out the case screws, and disconnect the GPU from the power supply. There’s a lever you just need to press to release it. Once you have the GPU out of the way, you can drop in the NVMe pretty easily. Don't stress too much; it’s really not hard as long as you're careful with it!

Just a heads up though, if your case uses screws for the PCIe slots, make sure to unscrew it first! I once made the mistake of thinking it was tool-less, and ended up breaking the PCIe lever trying to yank it out. Total rookie mistake!
