Can I Max Out Games with a 5070 Ti Upgrade?

I have an i7-12700F, 16 GB of RAM, and a 650W PSU, currently using a 3060 Ti. I'm struggling to max out newer games and often have to adjust the settings. If I upgrade only my GPU to a 5070 Ti, will that allow me to max out the latest titles? I game on a 3440x1440 Alienware OLED ultrawide monitor.

With a 5070 Ti, you should be able to max out most games, especially at 1440p. I use one at 4K and can max many games, though I occasionally have to drop to DLSS performance mode for the most demanding titles. Just keep in mind, some games with ray tracing might still challenge your setup, like Indiana Jones for example.

You'll likely need to upgrade your PSU as well; a 750W is the minimum for the 5070 Ti to ensure stable performance. Your current 650W might struggle under load, especially with the new GPU.

The 650W PSU could be a limiting factor. If you’re thinking about the get the 5070 Ti, consider bumping up to a PSU that's at least 750W to avoid any power issues.
