Can I Use Non-QVL RAM with My AM5 Motherboard?

I recently snagged a Corsair 64GB DDR5 RAM set, model CMH64GX5M2M6000Z30, just before prices skyrocketed. I also ordered an Asus ROG Strix X870E-E motherboard, but during my research, I came across comments warning against using Corsair RAM due to potential stability issues. I checked the Qualified Vendor List (QVL) for the motherboard, and while some Corsair models are listed, mine isn't. Should I cancel the motherboard order and look for one that supports my RAM, or is it safe to proceed with the Asus board?

You should be fine! The QVL is just a list of tested kits, not a guarantee that non-listed RAM won't work. It seems like those lists can be quite limited. Just keep in mind that you splurged on a high-end motherboard. Is there a specific feature you need that cheaper boards like the MSI B850 Tomahawk or Gigabyte B850 Aorus Elite don’t offer?

That's good to hear! I saw a specific warning about that RAM model too, which made me worry. I got it at a nice discount while piecing together my build. The main thing I'm after is a good amount of USB back I/O and M.2 Gen5 support, which I see in the Asus board.
