I recently built my first PC, and while I was excited about it, I'm facing some frustrating issues with random crashes. My screen goes black without any clear pattern, and the Event Viewer doesn't show any errors related to it. Everything appears to work normally—fans and RGB lights are on, and the HDMI input seems active—but the CAPSLOCK light on my keyboard stops responding. The crashes tend to happen when I try to load games like Apex Legends, though they can also occur at random times. Strangely, I've never experienced a crash while actually playing a game. Here are my PC specs:
- CPU: Ryzen 5 9600X
- GPU: Radeon RT9060XT 16GB
- Motherboard: Asrock B850 Challenger Wifi
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32GB (16x2) DDR5-5600
- PSU: Asrock SL750G
- CPU Cooler: DeepCool AG500 argb
- Case: MONTECH XR
I've already tried several potential solutions, including reseating the RAM and GPU, disabling the iGPU and EXPO, updating the BIOS, and testing different monitors, but nothing seems to be working. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Just curious, have you changed any BIOS settings to push the system to its limits? Sometimes those tweaks can lead to instability.
This might be a long shot, but could it be a monitor issue? Just thinking if a faulty monitor could cause the screen to go black like that.
It sounds like you might be dealing with unstable RAM or a power delivery issue, even with EXPO disabled. I'd recommend running Memtest86 overnight to check for faulty RAM, even though OCCT tests showed no problems. Also, make sure to manually download and install the latest chipset drivers from AMD's website instead of relying on Asrock's.
I second that! I had a similar issue with my build, and it ended up being bad RAM.
Have you tried updating your BIOS to the latest version available? Sometimes, those updates can fix stability issues that cause random crashes.

I actually tested a different monitor, and the issue persisted. But thanks for the suggestion!
