I just built a new PC, but I'm hitting a roadblock. The VGA light on my motherboard is constantly on, and my monitor isn't receiving any input from the GPU, so I can't even access the BIOS. During startup, the CPU error light briefly turns on and then goes away, followed by the DRAM light, but once the startup completes, the VGA light remains lit.
I've tried several troubleshooting steps:
- Swapping out different GPUs, including the internal GPU
- Reseating the CPU
- Changing the RAM positions
- Resetting the motherboard using the switch
Here are my specs:
- GPU: Asus Rx 9070xt OC
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B850 Eagle Wifi6e
- CPU: Ryzen 9700x
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5 5600MHz
- PSU: Corsair RM 850x
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! 🙂

Have you tried unplugging all your USB devices? I've read that can sometimes help with those VGA issues. Just disconnect everything and see if that gets you into BIOS.
That's interesting! I had a similar issue with my Aorus board. I unplugged my mouse, and suddenly I was able to go into BIOS. Might be worth a try!
Considering what you've already done, it could be faulty RAM or maybe a cable that's not fully seated. Have you ever gotten it to post and access the BIOS at all?
I'm not sure if it ever really posted since there's no input to the monitor, but I did notice that the fans slow down and adjust speed after a few seconds, so maybe that's a hint?!

I gave that a shot, but it didn't change anything. 🙁
