I'm planning to upgrade from my 1660 Super and I'm aiming for 120 fps in all games at least on medium settings. I'm okay with dropping settings since frame rates are my main priority. Here's how the prices for the GPUs look in my area: 5070 for $750, 5070ti for $980, and 9070xt for $765. I'm looking for advice on which card to go for at these prices. Also, being new to PC building, I've noticed that higher-end GPUs often come with features like ray tracing and path tracing. They look amazing, but I hear they can drop fps by 20-40%, so I might end up turning them off.

For those prices, I’d definitely go with the 9070xt, especially since ray tracing isn't a priority for you. It's a solid choice for achieving high frame rates without breaking the bank.

But do you think ray tracing is something I should consider for the future, even if it costs some fps now?
