I'm currently using a Ryzen 5 5600, an MSI B550 Pro-VDH WiFi motherboard, and I have 32 GB of DDR4 RAM. I'm trying to figure out the best graphics card to buy that will work well with my AM4 setup now and also allow for a smooth transition to the AM5 platform later on.

It really depends on what your budget looks like. Can you share how much you're planning to spend?
You might want to look at options like the 9060 XT 16GB or the 9070; both are solid choices for your setup right now.
In Poland, my budget would be enough for at most an RTX 5070 Ti GamingPro S.
