Hey everyone, I'm having a major issue after upgrading my Intel i5 14400f to an i7 14700k. My monitor isn't showing any display at all. I've double-checked that the monitor cable is connected to the GPU and everything powers on, but the power button is flashing rapidly. I've already tried a bunch of troubleshooting steps like removing the graphics card, reseating the RAM, confirming the CPU is properly installed, and switching between different cables and monitors. Additionally, my keyboard and mouse aren't lighting up, so it seems like the USB ports aren't working either. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! 🙂

You might want to try clearing the CMOS to reset your BIOS settings. Also, check if your motherboard's BIOS is updated for the new CPU. Even though both CPUs are from the same generation, it’s crucial to ensure compatibility with your board. The reason your keyboard and mouse aren't lighting up could be that the system hasn’t finished the POST process yet. Give those steps a shot!
I'm about to clear the CMOS now! I did the BIOS update a week ago and I’m pretty sure my board supports the new CPU, but I’ll check again. Thanks for the tips!
