I recently put together a gaming PC with the following specs: a 9800x3d processor, MSI B850 Tomahawk Max motherboard with Wi-Fi, 32GB of G.Skill Flare X5 6000MHz CL30 RAM, an RTX 5080 GPU, and a Montech Century 2 1050W Gold PSU. However, I'm having trouble getting it to post. I've tried reseating every component and wire, testing each RAM stick in all slots, and even utilizing integrated graphics. I also updated the BIOS to the latest version from the manufacturer's website, but nothing seems to work. The EZ debug LED shows a red CPU light and a yellow DRAM light. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Have you checked which SSD you're using? Since you mentioned updating the BIOS, that means it probably booted before, right? It could help to clarify if the SSD is from your old PC or if it's a fresh one for this build.
Did you use the BIOS flashback feature to update? That sometimes helps establish a good communication with components.
I have similar specs with an X870 Tomahawk motherboard and had similar boot problems. One tip I found useful is to wait a minute or two and see if the LEDs turn off; sometimes it just needs to settle. Did you give it enough time?
I waited about 10 minutes each time, and still no display.

I'm reusing the SSD from my old PC, but it never booted on the new setup.
