My Laptop Keeps Disconnecting from WiFi – Help!

I've been having a frustrating issue with my Asus laptop where it keeps disconnecting from WiFi. It started about three weeks ago; at first, it was just an occasional drop, but now it happens frequently and I've tried a few things to fix it. I uninstalled the network driver and then installed a more recent version, which worked for a few days, but the problem has returned. I'm really hoping to avoid a factory reset, but I'm not sure if there's anything else I can do to resolve this problem. Anyone have any advice?

A factory reset probably isn’t going to help with this issue. Have you considered trying a different WiFi adapter? USB ones can be pretty affordable, around $10 or so.

Before jumping to reset anything, make sure your router is functioning well. You can check that it works correctly by connecting with your smartphone. Also, you might want to see if tethering through your phone is stable. Sometimes, the cables inside the laptop might get damaged as well, especially if they’re bending at the hinges a lot. That could be another thing to investigate. And the USB adapter suggestion is a solid tip too!

Yeah, I haven't checked my router yet, but I’ll give that a shot. Thanks for the tip!
