What’s the Best Software to Check CPU Temperature?

HWMonitor is my favorite. It works quietly in the background 24/7, so I can easily check my temps after gaming sessions. HWiNFO does have more data but comes with a bit of bloat and isn't as user-friendly.

I swear by CoreTemp - it's super lightweight and does the job well. Plus, the latest update has brought back the mini mode, which is pretty handy!

HWInfo is a solid choice for those who want comprehensive data. If you prefer something simpler that works right away, CoreTemp is also excellent!
