Looking for GPU Recommendations with 8GB VRAM or More

I'm planning to upgrade my graphics card since I'm not too tech-savvy, and I currently have an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super. I'm looking for a newer GPU that has at least 8GB of VRAM to enhance my gaming experience. My budget is comfortably between $200 and $400, but I can stretch a bit if needed. Any recommendations?

If you're on a tight budget, I’d suggest considering a used Ryzen 5600 for around $50-$80 and pairing it with a 9060XT that has 16GB of VRAM. If your primary gaming is at 1080p, an 8GB version of the 9060XT might still work fine. Just keep in mind that your current CPU will bottle neck performance even with an upgraded GPU, so it may be time to upgrade that too. Also, if you can, try to match a 16GB RAM kit to boost your system to 32GB. It’ll help a lot, especially with Windows 11 being a bit heavier lately.

Yeah, definitely need to keep your platform balanced. If you go for that GPU, just make sure your CPU isn't holding you back!
