Should I Upgrade to a Full Tower Case for Better GPU Fit?

I recently received a new computer case as a gift from my boyfriend, but we didn't realize that my large GPU wouldn't fit properly. He managed to make it fit by placing the fans on the outside of the case, which has me a bit concerned. My boyfriend isn't too picky about this kind of thing, but I worry that it might lead to overheating down the line. I found a full tower case that's $20 more, and I'm debating whether it's worth getting that for optimal fit and function. I feel guilty since he spent so much time setting everything up, especially since we've both been stressed and sleep-deprived lately. Should I go for the bigger case or is it okay to keep it like this?

Sure, the setup will work like that, but if aesthetics matter to you (especially if it's on display), it might look a bit messy. I’d suggest either upgrading to the larger case or looking into a GPU riser so you can fit it all nicely inside.

Honestly, I think getting the bigger case is the best move. It’s way more ideal to have everything fit as it should, especially for an expensive GPU. Plus, it’ll help with airflow and cooling, which is crucial.

Thanks for the advice! I just feel bad considering how much time he put into it. I guess it’s better to fix it now than regret it later.
