Hey folks! I'm in the process of building a new PC setup for both my wife and myself. We play in separate rooms at 1080p and 75Hz, mostly diving into single-player RPGs like Elden Ring and Baldur's Gate 3. I initially planned to go with a traditional setup with two separate PCs. However, I found a great deal on an Intel i5 245KF, which got me thinking about a multi-seat configuration. I'm torn between sticking with this Intel processor for $190 or opting for the AMD 9600X at $250. On the other hand, should I just grab two budget-friendly CPUs, like those from the Ryzen 8000 series, and keep it simple? Honestly, I'm not a fan of Intel and NVIDIA products, but the deal on the i5 is tempting. What do you all think?

I'd recommend against the multi-seat setup. They can be a hassle to manage! Just go for two separate PCs. It'll save you a lot of headaches in the long run.

What makes you say it's a hassle? Is it more about the setup or how it performs?
