I've had my PC setup for a while now, and I'm starting to think there's a bottleneck with my CPU. I'm running an RTX 3080 alongside a Core i7 11700F, with 32GB of DDR4 RAM (not sure about the speed), powered by a 1000-watt PSU. I expected to run games like Rainbow Six Siege and CS2 consistently at 240 fps, but my FPS fluctuates between 140-180 in CS2 and around 160 in Siege. I don't think it's an in-game settings issue since I've optimized everything to the lowest settings based on various guides. I initially thought my CPU was the problem, but I've read that this CPU-GPU combo should work fine together. Any advice on what might be going wrong would be really appreciated, as I'd rather not spend around 1400 CAD on a new CPU, motherboard, and RAM.

Have you checked your GPU utilization while gaming? Also, keep an eye on CPU temps to see if they're getting too high. Those metrics can really help pinpoint the issue.
I don't think you have a heavy CPU/GPU bottleneck going on. Are you using an SSD? If so, which one? That could also impact performance.
It sounds like you're likely hitting a CPU bottleneck. Both CS:GO and CS2 are pretty CPU-intensive games, which might explain the FPS you're seeing. Your GPU could easily handle more FPS if the CPU wasn’t holding it back.
