I'm on the hunt for a new laptop specifically tailored for graphic and web design. My current gaming laptop has been a workhorse for five years, but it's starting to lag significantly when running programs like Illustrator and Photoshop. I'm looking for something lightweight for portability, but also powerful enough to handle demanding software. I won't be gaming on this new device; my old laptop will still take care of that. Key features for me are strong performance, good battery life, and a high-quality screen, and I plan to keep the new laptop for at least four years. Here are the options I'm considering:
1. ASUS Zenbook A14 OLED UX3407RA (Snapdragon X Elite, 32GB RAM) for €1750
2. MICROSOFT Surface Laptop 7 ZYT-00050 (Snapdragon X Elite, 16GB RAM) for €1760 (currently on sale)
3. LENOVO Yoga 9i Aura Edition (Intel Core Ultra 7 285V, 32GB RAM)
Any thoughts on which of these might be the best fit? Thanks in advance for your help!

Honestly, none of these laptops are ideal for graphic design since they all come with integrated graphics. If performance is your priority, look for something with a dedicated graphics card instead. That'll make a huge difference for design tasks.
If you're serious about graphic design, I wouldn't go for any of these options. A desktop PC is a much better choice. Laptops, especially with Snapdragon CPUs, might struggle with high-demand applications over time and could burn out quickly.
All three of these options are interesting, but before you decide, consider whether you're using this laptop primarily for your job or if it's just a side project. Knowing how you plan to use it can really influence what you need.
Actually, I'm using it for work right now since I'm finishing up my master's, so it's definitely for both work and studying!
Got it! Any suggestions on brands or models that come with dedicated graphics?
