I recently upgraded my GPU from a 7900 GRE to a 9070 XT, and now both my CPU (5800 X3D) and GPU are running at 100% usage. This is a huge change compared to my old setup where my CPU was around 40% and GPU around 60% while gaming. I play at 1080p; could that be causing the issue?

Have you tried capping your FPS? That can sometimes help manage CPU loads better.
I usually keep mine unlimited, but it still hasn't helped with the CPU usage.
Have you tested the performance with your old 7900 GPU? It might help you see if the problem started after the new GPU was installed.
That sounds strange for a powerful CPU like the 5800X3D. Typically, it shouldn't max out all the time. What game are you playing that’s pushing it to 100%?
I'm mostly playing Black Ops 7 and noticed this issue right after upgrading my GPU.
Resetting my PC didn't fix it, so I'm stumped. Definitely did not have this problem before the upgrade.
With a 9070 XT, you should really be gaming at 1440p instead of 1080p—that might help balance the load between your CPU and GPU.

Is limiting fps a good idea for 1080p? I feel like it shouldn't matter, but my CPU is always maxed out.
