Help Troubleshooting RAM Stability Issues with My New PC Build

I'm building my first complete PC, and I'm running into issues with the RAM training and overall stability of the system. Here's the scoop:

- **GPU**: Gigabyte AORUS Master GeForce RTX 5080 (16 GB)
- **Motherboard**: MSI MAG B850 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI (AM5, ATX)
- **RAM**: Corsair Vengeance DDR5, 2×32 GB.

Initially, I installed the original RAM kit, but one stick wouldn't boot, and I had issues with the dual-channel configuration, leading to CPU and DRAM LED warnings. After exchanging the RAM at the store, I started fresh with a new set.

Here's what happened with the new RAM:
- I installed it and managed to get the system to boot in various configurations, even enabling A-XMP without issue.
- The system booted successfully in Windows, ran games smoothly, and restarted fine—until this morning.
- Now, after a cold boot, USB devices stopped working after a couple of minutes in Windows, and then I faced LED warnings again.
- Currently, I'm able to boot with only one specific DIMM, but the dual-channel setup fails to work, regardless of the configuration.

Any thoughts on what might be causing these issues?

It sounds like you've done quite a bit of troubleshooting already! At this point, I’d suspect the motherboard might be defective since you've replaced the RAM and the issues persist. You might also want to consider the CPU, but replacing the motherboard would generally be more complex. If you can, check your warranty options for the motherboard first since that would be easier to handle than a whole new build.

Thanks for the suggestion! I recycled the motherboard box, so I hope I can still do a return. Fingers crossed!
