Is the XFX RX 9070 XT a good choice for my setup?

Hey everyone! I'm considering upgrading my GPU in light of the current crazy prices, especially here in my third-world country. I currently have a Ryzen 5 5600X with an RTX 3060, 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 750W Gold PSU, and I game on a 1080p 27" monitor. A friend is coming from Europe, and I'm thinking about getting the XFX RX 9070 XT Mercury. I'd love to try out 1440p gaming, but I'm wondering if I should make the jump now or wait? Also, will the RX 9070 XT pair well with my current setup without bottlenecking? If I go for it, do you think I should undervolt to save on power costs? I'm open to other GPU suggestions too, as long as they can last at least three years without issues.

I say go for it! The 9070 XT will definitely give you better performance. Just keep your CPU and enjoy 1440p gaming. If you ever consider getting a new monitor, a 4K one could also be a good idea to balance out the bottleneck a bit.

Thank you, I will do!

While the RX 9070 XT is overkill for pure 1080p gaming, I think it's worth it if you're planning to upgrade to a 2K monitor soon. You might experience slight bottlenecking, but the higher resolution will help compensate for that.

Thank you! I forgot to mention that I will definitely get a 2K monitor if I get the GPU.

The RX 9070 XT is solid for 1440p gaming, especially with your Ryzen 5600X. It's only around 130W more than your current GPU, so power use shouldn't be a crazy jump. You can actually power limit it and still get great performance while saving some power too!

Ahh that's good news! Thank you!
