I've been dealing with DC (Domain Controller) replication issues between two of my Domain Controllers for over 60 days. I keep hitting an error with code 2148074274, which says the target principal name is incorrect. I'm following Microsoft's guide on fixing it. After making some changes on one of the DCs (AA01), when I run the replication summary using repadmin, it shows that it hasn't replicated correctly. The same issue shows up for the second DC (BB01) as well. I'm thinking of applying the fix from Microsoft on AA01 and hoping that would resolve the issue. What do you guys think?

First off, make sure that your primary DC (AA01) is in good shape! If everything checks out, another option is to spin up a new DC and promote it. Once it's healthy, you can transfer the IP from the malfunctioning DC to this new one and finally decommission the problematic DC.

Since AA and BB are at different locations, do you think the fix from Microsoft would still apply?
