HP Dev One Won’t Load OS or Access BIOS – Help Needed!

I'm having trouble with my HP Dev One that's running Fedora 43. It powers on—keyboard backlight and screen come on—but it doesn't start loading the operating system. When I try to enter the BIOS or boot menu, I see a message about "F10 BIOS Menu" on the bottom left of the screen, but I can't actually access the BIOS to change any settings or the boot order. I've also attempted to boot from a Ventoy USB to get into a live Fedora session, but that didn't work either. I disconnected the laptop battery for five minutes and rebooted, but that didn't help. Any troubleshooting or reset advice would really be appreciated!

Try repeatedly pressing all the function keys while the laptop is powered off and keep holding them down during boot. This has worked for others in similar situations.

I gave that a shot, but unfortunately, it didn't work for me.

Removing the hard drive before rebooting helped me access the BIOS. Once I was in there, resetting to the defaults got my computer booting again. You might want to try that method!

I followed your suggestion, and resetting the BIOS did the trick! Thanks for the tip!
