I made some less-than-great choices in the past and ended up with an RTX 3050 and a Ryzen 5 5600G. I've got a solid PSU and a B550 motherboard, but when I'm playing competitive FPS games, my experience feels choppy, even with the graphics set to very low. I've already tried all the tips to boost performance, so I'm wondering if it's time to make some upgrades. Should I prioritize getting a better GPU, upgrade my CPU, or maybe invest in a high-refresh-rate monitor? I'm feeling a bit lost here, so any advice would be really appreciated!

I'd suggest looking into getting a better GPU like the 9060 XT. It could really boost your gaming performance. Just remember, though, competitive FPS titles often rely heavily on CPU performance too!

That's a good point! I've read that for competitive play, a stronger CPU usually helps, so it might be worth considering a CPU upgrade as well.
