Why is my monitor blurry after changing the resolution?

I recently changed the resolution on my monitor from the recommended 1920x1080 to 4k, and then switched it back to 1920x1080. Now my screen looks really blurry. My monitor is an LG 32GN63T-B gaming monitor. Any ideas on how to fix this?

It might just be that after seeing 4k, even your monitor's normal resolution might look less sharp. But definitely try resetting it to the original resolution.

Make sure you're also checking your refresh rates. Sometimes mismatched refresh rates can cause display issues. Try adjusting that in your display settings too!

It looks like your monitor's native resolution is actually 2560x1440, not 4k or 1080p. Try setting it to that resolution instead of 1920x1080 to see if that clears up the blurriness. Just go into your display settings and select 1440p.

Yeah, definitely! That should help it look sharp again.

Exactly! Using the correct setting makes a huge difference.
