I recently snagged an incredible deal on a 9070XT, but I'm concerned about my current set-up. I'm using a DDR4 system and play a lot of CPU-intensive games like Arma 3 and Tarkov. Did I make a hasty upgrade decision, or is my 5800X going to hold up? Am I looking at needing to replace my entire system soon? By the way, I'm coming from a 3060TI, so I'm hoping for a substantial boost.

It really depends on what you're coming from. I'm on a DDR4 system too, and I moved from a 3080 to the 9070XT. I did notice a nice bump in performance. There might be some bottlenecking in CPU-intensive games, but overall, it's a better experience. Since you’re upgrading from a 3060TI, you'll see a major improvement in GPU-heavy games!
You should be fine! I run a 5700X3D, and it's a good match as well. The 5800X won't create significant bottlenecks with your setup, so don't stress too much!
