Hey everyone! I've had my PC for almost two years and I'm considering upgrading my GPU. Right now, I'm playing at 1440P and enjoy games like Fortnite and Where Winds Meet. I've done some research and noticed that some folks suggest the 9060 XT 16GB or even going for the more powerful options like the 5070 or 9070. I have a decent build with 32GB of RAM and a 600-watt 80+ Gold PSU. Personally, I'm leaning towards the 9060 XT 16GB because of its price, but I'm concerned about potential bottlenecking with my CPU if I opt for the 9070 or 5070. What do you think?

If your budget allows, I'd go for the 9070 for the best performance at 1440P. But honestly, for the games you mentioned, the 9060 XT 16GB is a solid choice too!
Are you sure a 9070 is safe with a 600W PSU?
Using a 9070 or 5070 with your 14400F at 1440P should work fine. Just consider this chart showing 1440P performance. The 9060 XT can bottleneck some setups; its performance doesn't really change much across high-end CPUs. Your 14400F is decent, falling between the 5600 and 7600X, so you might see some mild bottlenecking with the 9070, but you'll still gain around 50% more FPS compared to the 9060 XT. If you're planning to use it primarily for gaming, AMD cards give great performance for the price, while Nvidia excels in areas outside of gaming.
I'm actually thinking about the 5070 now, but I'm unsure if my 600W PSU will handle it. As I'm upgrading from a prebuilt, is it enough?
I mostly game too, but I also watch movies and shows on my PC occasionally.
If you're considering a powerful upgrade, it might be wise to upgrade your PSU as well—I'd suggest an 850W for future-proofing. Depending on your options, think about the 9070, 9060 XT 16GB, or even a used 7800 XT or 3080 if you find a good deal!

Thanks for the input! I'm really leaning toward the 9060 since I don't dive into anything too GPU intensive.
