Hey everyone! I've got a setup with DDR4 2x8GB 3600MHz RAM on my ASRock B550M, specifically in slots A2 and B2. I'm curious if I can add my older 1x8GB 3200MHz RAM into the mix and, if so, which socket would be the best option for it?

I wouldn't recommend mixing those two. If you do add the 3200MHz stick, your faster RAM will likely drop down to match the slower speed, which isn't ideal for performance. Plus, it wouldn't run in dual-channel mode, so you might not get the best results.
Mixing the RAM can work, but keep in mind that it will run in single-channel mode instead of dual-channel. There's a chance it might not even boot with the combination. If it does boot, you could experience some instability.

Thanks for the tips! If it boots with the older RAM, I guess I'll just have to watch for any issues.
