I'm currently using an RX 590 paired with a Ryzen 5 5600X on a B550 motherboard. I've been considering an upgrade to either the 9070 or 9070XT in the next few months due to rising prices. Both cards are close to their MSRP on Amazon right now, but there's about a $100 price difference between them. I understand the performance boost isn't massive, but I'm unsure if it's worth the extra cash. Any advice would be appreciated!

Also, consider what games you're planning to play. The 9070 is fantastic for general gaming, and it has lower power consumption too. If your current setup is solid, you might not need the XT right away.
Honestly, the 9070 is still very capable. If you’re working with a budget, it’s a great option. The performance difference isn't huge, and you’ll save some cash for future upgrades.
With the current GPU market prices, it might also help to look at the value in percentage compared to their prices. If the $100 gap is from $500 to $600, that’s a good deal. But if it’s from $800 to $900, perhaps the 9070 makes more sense.
For just a $100 more, I’d say go for the XT. It’s definitely worth it for the performance boost you get in gaming and other tasks. Plus, it's always better to have the extra power if you need it down the line.
It really depends on your budget. If you can swing the extra cash, the XT has noticeable enhancements over the non-XT version. But if you're trying to save some bucks, the 9070 is still a solid performer.
Totally! If the XT is within 15% more, I’d definitely recommend it. Otherwise, stick with the 9070.

Would you say the performance gap is worth the extra $100? I’m on a tight budget.
