Can Rabbit Urine Really Corrode Electronics?

I recently had a friend visit and he was concerned about my rabbit being in my room. He claimed that rabbit urine releases ammonia, which can corrode electronic devices like my laptop and modem, even if the bunny doesn't directly pee on them. I ended up moving her to another room, but now I'm worried. Is there any truth to what he said?

I found some info that says keeping the space clean and well-ventilated can help a lot. A good air purifier might be a solid investment for both your rabbit's health and your electronics!

Thanks for the tip! I'm definitely considering buying an air purifier to be on the safe side.

Yeah, ammonia can cause corrosion over time, but it really depends on how much urine is around and if it's not cleaned up. Just make sure to keep the area dry and clean, and you should be good!
