Looking for Help to Choose a Gaming PC Under 500 Euros

I'm on a budget of around 500 euros and I'm looking to buy a gaming PC. I've never built a PC myself and I'd prefer to purchase a pre-built one. Ideally, I want something that can run games above 120fps, aiming for around 160fps if possible. Any suggestions? Thanks!

For that budget, you can really only afford the basics right now. You might want to see if you can stretch your budget a bit or maybe look at financing options if you're set on PC gaming, otherwise, a used gaming PC might be your best bet.

Honestly, you're likely going to have to scale back your expectations a bit. In today’s economy, finding a pre-built rig that can achieve around 120fps for that kind of money is tough. It might be worth considering a console like the PS5 if you want consistent performance without the hassle of building.

With a budget like 500 euros, getting a solid gaming PC that hits 120fps is a bit of a stretch, especially considering the current market. You might need to look at used parts or systems. I’ve seen configurations like a Ryzen 5 3600 with an RTX 2070 and 16GB of DDR4; that can get you there but might be hard to find in new builds for your price. Keep an eye on deals!

Where are you located? If you're in Ireland, you might find some great second-hand deals. Check local marketplaces for pre-owned components or PCs; sometimes people sell their older gaming PCs for a good price! Just make sure to do your research on the specs.
