I'm setting up my PC and I'm curious about whether I should install an XMP profile for my RAM. My setup includes a 4070 Super GPU, a 7800X3D CPU, an 850W MSI Gold power supply, and a Crucial T500 1TB SSD. I'm using Trident Z5 RAM, which is 32GB at 6000MHz CL30. Should I go ahead and enable XMP in the BIOS?

You definitely want to enable XMP in your BIOS! It configures your RAM to run at its rated speed, which in your case would be the full 6000MHz. Just go to the BIOS settings and look for the XMP option to enable it.

Enabling XMP will boost your RAM speed from 4800 MT/s to its full rating. You don’t need a certain CPU model to use XMP, EXPO, or DOCP—what matters is that your RAM kit supports it. Just make sure you’re careful with stability, as some setups can have issues after enabling.

Thanks for the tips, everyone! I did encounter a problem where my PC turns off when trying to run games after enabling XMP or EXPO. Is that a common issue?

Just a heads-up, depending on your motherboard, XMP may also show up as DOCP or EXPO for AMD systems. It all does the same thing. Most modern boards should have great compatibility with your setup, so you should be good to go!
