I've been using Windows 11 ever since the initial leaks, and I've switched to the stable public release that came out a few years ago. At first, it was really snappy and reliable, but lately, it's become sluggish. The boot time is longer, apps take seconds to open, and the search bar just shows a white box instead of functioning properly. My wallpaper keeps reverting to a black screen for some reason, and even the file explorer feels slower, taking just a tad longer to open folders. I've already tried clearing temporary files, expanding my SSD, removing unused software, and updating all drivers. Is there any way to declutter or "debloat" Windows 11 without having to do a clean install?

If you see that random command prompt popping up, it might be due to a startup program that’s trying to run scripts or processes. Check your Task Manager and see what’s running at startup. You might find something unexpected that you can disable.
A clean reinstall really does work best if you're looking for a fresh start, but if you want to avoid that, check your Task Manager. Go to the Startup tab and disable any unnecessary programs that might be trying to launch at startup. Also, you can use a tool like Win Patrol for more control over startup items. That usually helps in freeing up system resources!
That's solid advice! Also, don’t forget to check for any updates within Windows settings. Sometimes pending updates can cause sluggishness.

Good point! I had a similar issue and it turned out to be some old software I thought was uninstalled. Just going through and double-checking startup items can really help.
