I've been an Android user since the T-Mobile G1, but I'm starting to feel like it's time to switch to iPhones since I'm not thrilled with the newer Android devices. I'm planning to buy three iPhones—one for myself and two for my parents—and I noticed I could add AppleCare One for $19.99 a month. I want to know if I can put all three devices under one Apple ID for AppleCare. I'm unfamiliar with how Apple IDs work compared to my old Google accounts, so I need some clarity. Is it really fair to say that $20 covers all three phones, or would it actually cost me $60?

You really shouldn’t share one Apple account across all three devices. Each family member should ideally have their own Apple ID. Using one account could create complications down the line since AppleCare One requires all devices to be under the same Apple ID. However, if you wanted to save money, each device could have its own individual AppleCare plan instead, but that could end up being more hassle overall.

Got it! So better to have separate accounts to avoid future headaches. Thanks for clarifying!
