Should I Upgrade from a 5600G to a 5700X or 5800XT?

I'm currently using a 5600G and experiencing stuttering in CPU-intensive games like Minecraft and CS2, even when running on lower settings. My frame rates are typically between 100-200 in CS2, and I'm using a 7800XT with a 1440p ultrawide monitor. Considering an upgrade, should I go for the 5700X priced at about $180 or the 5800XT at around $250?

Definitely go for the 5700X. It's a cost-effective upgrade and undervolting with a slight overclock can bring even better performance without needing to spend extra on the 5800XT.

I’d recommend the 5700X unless you stumble upon a great deal on a 5700X3D. Even getting it used would be a solid move!

Looks like I'm heading for the 5700X then. The X3D models are priced way too high around $500-600 here.
