Why Does My Linux System Keep Switching Languages?

Hey polyglot Linux users! I've been experiencing an annoying issue where my operating system seems to forget my preferred language settings. Just the other day, my system was entirely in Esperanto, but then it switched back to English without warning, making apps like Krita operate in the wrong language. I tried changing the system language back to English and then to Esperanto again, and after a restart, it finally returned to normal. Has anyone encountered this? It's really inconvenient because sometimes I can't figure out if I should search for apps or settings in English or Esperanto!

What Linux distribution are you using? Also, does it have full support for Esperanto? Did you update your system just before or after this issue happened? It might help pinpoint what's going on.

I’m using KDE Neon, which is pretty much Lubuntu from what I’ve gathered. It seems to support Esperanto since everything reverted back to it after I switched the language settings twice. I did update the system when it was in English, but that didn’t fix the problem at the time.
