Why is my GPU underperforming compared to others?

Hey everyone, I'm feeling a bit lost and wondering if my GPU might not be working properly. I've noticed that my friends are getting significantly better FPS in games than I am, even though their GPUs are not as powerful as mine. I suspect there might be a bottleneck with my CPU, but I'm not entirely sure. Here are my specs:
- GPU: RTX 4080 Super
- CPU: Ryzen 7 5800x
- RAM: 32GB
- Storage: 2TB NVMe SSD
- PSU: 650W.
Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

It really depends on what games you're playing. Generally speaking, your setup looks solid, and for most games, it shouldn’t be a bottleneck unless you're playing something like Valorant on the lowest settings for max FPS. Don't stress too much about it!

I was worried about that. I read something suggesting my CPU might be bottlenecked at 2K resolution, but I'm not quite convinced.

To really help you out, could you share which games you're playing and your graphics settings? If you're playing on ultra settings with ray tracing while your friends are on lower settings, that could explain the FPS difference. Just throwing it out there!

Yeah, sorry for not clarifying! I play games like CS:GO, Rainbow Six, and story-driven games like Cyberpunk. I read somewhere that my CPU might be causing a bottleneck at 2K resolution.

Also, in Stalker 2, I'm facing really low FPS. I asked someone before, but they couldn't determine why. Is it a bad CPU issue or does the game just cap me at 60 FPS?
