Can I safely fit a GPU with only 1mm space from front case fans?

I'm working with a Fractal Torrent Compact case, which has a GPU clearance of 330mm (12.99 inches). I'm planning to use a PNY 5070ti Triple Fan Plus GPU that's 328.4mm (12.92 inches) long. I know it fits on paper, but I'm concerned about the tight space. Has anyone had experiences with similar close fits? Any advice or warnings would be appreciated!

As long as the GPU isn't touching the fans, it's all good!

You should be okay! I fit a GPU that was 340mm in a case with exactly 340mm of clearance, and even then there was some space left between the GPU and the fans. Just keep in mind you might need to angle the GPU a bit to get it through the case opening.

Yeah, that setup should work fine. I managed to fit a PNY 5080 into a Torrent Compact with about the thickness of a piece of paper between the GPU and the front fans. Just remember to take it slow when installing so you don't scrape anything. You might have to be a bit careful since there's not much wiggle room to align the PCIe slot properly.
