I'm really tired after spending some time looking for parts, and I want to get some opinions on my potential PC build. I'm especially interested in whether it can handle games at a smooth 60fps on a super ultrawide monitor, like the 49-inch Odyssey G9 G95C. I'm open to spending on RAM since I'm a complete newbie and feel pretty lost in tech details. Here's the build: [link]. Cheers!

That cooler is kind of overkill unless you’re really going for aesthetics. You might do better with a cheaper AIO that offers similar performance and noise levels.
Honestly, I think it's quite pricey for what you're getting. For the same RAM price, you could grab both that and a decent motherboard together. Plus, you can find a cooler that performs just as well for much less. And with the money you save, upgrading to a 5080 could give you a significant performance boost!
Agreed! Deals really add up.
Certain air tower coolers are just as good but way cheaper. You really don’t need an x870 board for a gaming build either; a solid B650/850 will do just fine. Also, both your case and PSU seem overpriced; definitely look for bundles or deals at places like Micro Center to keep this build under $2000, even including RAM!
For the air cooler, maybe consider the Peerless Assassin 120 instead to save some bucks. You could also find a modular 750W power supply for a great price.
This is a pretty expensive build but hey, it looks good overall!
This build looks pretty standard for entry-level higher-tier setups. Just a heads up: I wouldn't mess around with the Taichi motherboard since its 12-volt pins have had some fire incidences (rare, but worth noting). You might consider checking out other overclocking options without that risk. As for tech skills, don't sell yourself short! Plenty of people learn everything through videos and experience. You're more capable than you think!
You're right, this build is coming in hot at $2700 for a 9070XT setup. My 5080 build cost me less! If you're spending that much, you may want to reconsider some components.

Yeah, always look for combo deals! Saves a ton of cash.
