I have a 5060 Ti with 16GB, an AMD 7600X processor, and 32GB of RAM. Some of my friends claim that the 5060 Ti is a terrible graphics card and that I should upgrade to at least a 5070 or 5070 Ti because they expect GPU prices to rise soon. However, I thought this combo was a good deal given the current RAM prices. I'm wondering if the 5060 Ti is really that bad and how long it will last while gaming at 1440p, especially with titles like Witcher 3, Kingdom Come, Civ, Arc Raiders, and Cyberpunk.

It's a solid option, but if you're looking at price-to-performance, the 5070 or 5070 Ti might offer better value. The 5070 costs just about 20% more but can give you around 30% better performance. Still, for 1440p, the 5060 Ti can definitely handle it!
It's not an awful choice; it's just not top-tier. "Not being the best" doesn’t mean it's bad. And the 16GB version is definitely a plus!
The 5060 Ti 16GB really isn't a terrible card. You might need to upscale for smoother frames at 1440p, but it holds its own. I have a 9060 XT paired with a 1440p monitor, and while I get about 50fps in Cyberpunk with ray tracing, I can hit 120fps in Fortnite on High settings. It's definitely decent for gaming!

Yeah, switching to the 5070 could mean trading in your 1440 OLED monitor for something cheaper. Is that worth it for you?
