I'm looking to upgrade my current graphics card since I've been experiencing crashes and low FPS while playing games. Right now, I have an RTX 3060, but I want something that can give me better performance at 1440p without breaking the bank. I don't need a card that supports 4K; I'm just after a higher FPS and improved graphics settings. Here are my specs: Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5600x, RAM: 16GB, Power Supply: Corsair RM 850x. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve been considering the same upgrade! Just a heads up, if you get a heavier-hitting GPU, you might want to check if your power supply will support it. An upgrade might necessitate a PSU swap depending on the model you choose. But with your 850w PSU, you should be fine for most cards!
The 9070 and 9060 XT are both excellent options for 1440p gaming. The 9070 is a bit pricier but offers fantastic performance. Plus, it consumes only 220 watts, so your 850w PSU should handle it easily.
If you're looking for a solid upgrade, check out the 9060 XT or the 7700 XT. Those cards should give you a significant boost in performance at 1440p without costing an arm and a leg.

Yeah, you're likely in the clear with 850w. It's a solid PSU!
