I'm putting together my first PC and I've already ordered most of the parts, which you can check out here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/kfRs6Q. I just need to finalize my motherboard and RAM. Currently, I'm leaning towards the MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk WiFi Motherboard but I'm also considering the ASUS ROG STRIX B650-A Gaming WiFi Motherboard. Any recommendations? Additionally, I welcome any critiques on my build—just be gentle since I'm still learning! Thanks in advance!

Both the MSI Tomahawk and the RAM selection are solid choices. Just make sure to look for the cheapest DDR5 RAM options available; you don't need to go for the fastest right now. I'm also a bit worried about the size of your CPU cooler, especially if you’ll be running demanding tasks. If you notice high temps, consider upgrading to a larger cooler for better thermal performance. Oh, and keep an eye on your GPU too, as it may be the weak link in your setup! Just a heads up, your PSU could use an upgrade if you decide to get a more powerful GPU down the line.
A 650W PSU should be sufficient for now, but if you're looking to future-proof your build, going for a 750W might be the wiser choice.
The MSI Tomahawk is one of the best motherboards out there! If you're looking to save some money, switching to a less expensive SSD might help, but if you're a fan of Samsung, it's a great choice too. And about Windows, don't waste your money on a full license right away; you can find decent alternatives for around $30 if you do a bit of research.
I appreciate the insights! Unfortunately, the SSD you suggested isn't available here in Germany for the price you mentioned; it's about 280€ instead. Thanks for your recommendation though!

Thanks for the tips! I do plan on adding extra fans to my system. I've got three for the top and bottom and five more for airflow. Will that help the smaller cooler work better?
