Hey everyone! I'm diving into my first PC build and I'm considering the following parts. I haven't purchased anything yet, so I'm keen to hear your feedback and suggestions for improvements. My budget is around $1500, and I want to play games like Warzone and Cyberpunk at 1440p with 120 FPS. Here's what I'm thinking so far:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 4.5 GHz 8-Core Processor ($267.00 @ Amazon)
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE 66.17 CFM CPU Cooler ($34.90 @ Amazon)
- **Motherboard**: Asus PRIME B650-PLUS ATX AM5 Motherboard ($179.99 @ Amazon)
- **Memory**: Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 Memory ($94.99 @ Newegg)
- **Storage**: Crucial P3 Plus 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive ($61.99 @ Amazon)
- **Video Card**: XFX Speedster QICK 319 Core Radeon RX 7800 XT 16 GB Video Card ($589.99 @ Amazon)
- **Case**: Corsair FRAME 4000D RS ARGB ATX Mid Tower Case ($94.99 @ Amazon)
- **Power Supply**: Corsair RM850x (2024) 850 W Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($129.99 @ Newegg)
**Total**: $1453.84 (including taxes and shipping)
Thanks in advance for your help!

There's another combo on PCPartPicker that looks better. I recommend the 9600X instead of the 7700X; it's known to perform better in gaming. You could also pair it with a motherboard and RAM bundle to save costs. If you decide to go this route, you might even have enough left to upgrade your SSD to a 2TB!
Looks solid overall! I think your CPU and GPU choices are great for gaming. You might want to consider the combo deal at Newegg; the 7700 paired with a 9070 XT could give you some extra performance while still being in the budget.
Have you checked if there’s a Micro Center nearby? They often have great deals, and you might find some of these parts even cheaper. Just a thought!
Not really, why do you ask?
That is a good one! Thanks!
