I'm trying to decide between 16GB and 32GB of RAM for gaming, aiming for around 150fps in some titles while experiencing lower performance in more demanding games. I also want to make sure I can multitask effectively without overspending. How much difference is there in price between the two RAM options?

I’d definitely recommend going for 32GB. With Windows and a few Chrome tabs or Discord running in the background, that eats up quite a bit of memory. For example, on my system, Windows uses about 4GB, Chrome about 1-2GB, and some of the newer AAA games can push that usage to 10-14GB. You probably won’t *constantly* use the full 32GB, but hitting the limit of 16GB could lead to performance drops due to swapping. It would be great if they offered 12GB sticks because that would work perfectly for a 24GB setup!
Thanks for the info!

So would 16GB be enough for Linux users then?
