I'm trying to set up a dual monitor system for my HP Elitebook 640 G9 Notebook but I'm running into a problem with USB-C ports. My laptop doesn't have enough USB-C ports to connect both screens, and I found a USB-C splitter that has the right icons according to the monitor instructions. However, the product name mentions "No Video Output," which confuses me. Can anyone confirm if this splitter will work for connecting two monitors?

You might want to consider a USB-C dock. They typically offer better support for dual display setups and often support video output over USB-C.
I doubt that hub will suit your needs. Typically, these hubs aren't capable of carrying a video signal, so connecting your monitors through it likely won't work.
Check out this dock instead: it supports Thunderbolt 4 and provides power pass-through, so both your monitors will work, and it keeps your laptop charged too!
Unfortunately, that splitter won't work for your monitors because it doesn't support video output. It's designed only for standard data transfer.
Got it, thanks! The wording on these products can be pretty misleading.
Your Elitebook is capable of supporting dual video outputs via the USB-C and HDMI ports. For the best setup, you'll need to connect one monitor using USB-C and the second using HDMI. Make sure to check the compatibility details in the product images for proper connection.

Nice suggestion! I'll look into that one. Powering the monitors is a big plus.
