What’s the Best Way to Set Up a Persistent Upload Link for Secure File Sharing?

I'm in search of a reliable solution that lets people securely upload files to me through a persistent link, which I can include in my email signature. I've found various tools that enable file sharing or one-time upload requests, but I'm struggling to find one that provides a constant link for ongoing uploads. Does anyone know a good option for this?

You could try using OneDrive's file request feature. It allows you to create a link that others can use to upload files directly. You might also want to check out Box's similar feature if you're interested in alternative platforms.

Google Drive could work for your needs as well. You can create a folder, set permissions, and then share the link for others to upload files directly to you. It's pretty straightforward!

If you're using Office 365, you can create a folder in OneDrive and set it up to request files. People can upload to it without seeing the contents of the folder, and you'll get notifications when new files are added!

Have you thought about using Copyparty? It's an open-source solution you can host yourself. It’s highly customizable and works exactly like you're looking for—people can upload files directly to you. I'd be happy to share my setup process if you're interested!

That sounds interesting! I'd like to know more about how you set it up. Is it complicated to get running?

I've used it before; it’s actually quite user-friendly. Just a bit of server setup and you're good to go!
