I'm planning to upgrade from my laptop to a desktop with my Christmas bonus, and I'm considering second-hand PCs that can handle 1440p gaming at max or ultra settings on titles like Witcher 3 and RDR2. I found a rig featuring a Ryzen 7 5800X3D, an RX 6700 XT with 12GB, 32GB DDR4 RAM, and a 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD for 700 euros. Is this worth the investment?

That price is pretty decent! I've seen similar setups going for around 1,000 euros, so this one feels like a steal. However, a little downside is that the motherboard doesn’t come with WiFi or Bluetooth, but if you have a 5GHz WiFi card, you should be good to go!
Honestly, this is a no-brainer. The 5800X3D and 32GB of RAM alone are worth about 500-600 euros nowadays. The rest is basically a bonus! And while the GPU is the weakest part of the build, it should handle your games at decent settings on a 1440p monitor.
Totally agree, especially if you’re okay with not having ultra settings. Plus, you can upgrade the GPU whenever you feel like it.
I'm a bit skeptical; the price seems too good to be true. Just make sure everything works well before committing!

Exactly! It's a solid deal overall. And you can always swap out that GPU later if you want something beefier!
