Is My 9070 XT and 5600X Setup Underperforming at 1080p?

I'm using a 9070 XT paired with a 5600X and 16GB of RAM on a 1080p monitor, but I'm thinking about upgrading to a 1440p one. While playing Battlefield 6, I've noticed significant FPS drops down to around 50, especially in urban areas. I previously had a 3060 Ti and I'm wondering if performance could get worse at 2K. I've done a clean uninstallation of my old drivers and installed the latest AMD drivers, but I'm still concerned. Should I consider a fresh Windows installation, or do I just have to deal with these frame drops?

It might be worth looking at upgrading to an ultrawide setup and adding more RAM to help with performance. Definitely consider waiting for the AM6 CPUs to come out, as that could really enhance your gaming experience!

Just a heads-up: Battlefield 6 tends to be more CPU bound, so moving to 1440p might not alleviate your FPS drops much. It’s likely you won't see a significant improvement with the upgrade.
