Which GPUs Can I Upgrade for My Old PC?

I'm currently using a pretty basic setup with Windows 10 Pro on a Lenovo MAHOBAY. My specs are an Intel Core i3 3240 @ 3.40GHz, 8GB of DDR3 RAM, and the display is an Acer X193HQ with a resolution of 1366x768. I'm wondering if there are any GPUs that I can upgrade to with this system or if I should be considering a full upgrade instead.

The best route is to upgrade the whole system! The GPU is the cherry on top, but with your current CPU, you won't get the full benefits of a new graphics card. Save up for a complete upgrade for a smoother experience!

Honestly, with your current specs, you might be better off doing a full system upgrade. The i3-3240 and DDR3 RAM are quite outdated, which limits your GPU options significantly. Trying to upgrade just the GPU could leave you struggling with performance due to other bottlenecks in your system.

I'd suggest focusing on a full rebuild if you want better performance. Your current setup might not be able to handle modern GPUs well, and you'll also need to consider upgrading your monitor for a better experience. It's not just about swapping out the GPU.

If you insist on upgrading just the GPU, you might look at older models like the GTX 1050 or RX 560, but keep in mind that you may still not see a big improvement due to your other components.
