Upgrading from a 2060 Super: What’s the Best Choice for 1080p and 1440p Gaming?

I currently have a 2060 Super that's showing signs of failing, and I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card. I primarily game on a 1080p ultrawide monitor and also on a 4K TV. I want to achieve at least 60 FPS consistently in new games at either 1080p or 1440p. Right now, I'm struggling to hit 60 FPS in games like Silent Hill F, even on the lowest settings. I also play some multiplayer shooters. How high should I go for my upgrade before I hit diminishing returns?

For 1080p to 1440p gaming, I recommend the RX 9060 XT. If you want the best bang for your buck, the RX 9070 XT is also a great choice for 1440p and above. If you prefer Nvidia, the 5070 Ti is an option, but it starts around $750, which is higher than the RX 9070 XT at about $600 in the US.

My primary monitor is 2560x1080. Do you think I can run new games on high/ultra at 60 FPS with the 9070 XT?
